In July of 1998 we purchased our first 2 Herd Sires. SCR TAREYTONborn 9-28-96, is our full South American Herd Sire (3/4 Bolivian, 1/4 Chilean.)  TAREYTON is only 1 of 2 *LION OF BOLIVIA sons in Ohio.  He is a very large (46" at the withers and 420 lbs.) honey-colored and gray male, with great conformation, an extremely gentle disposition, and wonderfully fine, voluminous wool.  wpe7.gif (297390 bytes)

We can actually walk up to TAREYTON in the pasture, put an arm around his neck, and walk with him. TAREYTON is a joy to have on our farm and his offspring have the same gentle disposition as their dad.

TAREYTON's progeny are all colorful and have nice fiber.

Since we believe in selective breeding, not overproducing,  there are a very limited number of TAREYTON progeny available.

HARD ROCK'S ZORRO, wpe4.gif (335856 bytes)born 12-4-98, is a correct, black and white,  heavy wool, Peruvian El Gris son.  This gentle male has good bone, incredibly soft and lustrous crimpy fiber, and ears that almost touch.

wpe5.gif (339061 bytes)Zorro placed 1st in the Heavy Wool Yearling Class at the 2000 Ohio State Fair and was  Heavy Wool Reserve Grand Champion at the 2001 Holmes County Show in Millersburg, Ohio.

The only reason we are willing to part with this great stud is because we are no longer breeding Llamas.  A guy this great needs to be in a breeding program.
